Garden Story on Public Television

I happened to sit down in front of the television today when the show Garden Story was on Alabama Public Television. I’d never seen it before, and this episode was about the community gardens of New York City’s lower East Side (a nice connection to this week’s Earth Day talk). The program is a ten-part series about the transformative power of gardens, focusing primarily on gardens in the eastern U.S., but also visiting Missouri Botanical Gardens (an absolutely wonderful place if you ever get a chance to visit it). It’s a thoughtful and well-produced show that’s worth catching if you’re so inclined. Check the APTV Create schedule for days and times.
