Make a Trip to The Illustrated Garden

Screen shot from The Illustrated Garden
I was recently contacted by reader Val Webb, a Mobile resident who blogs about organic gardening and sustainability at “The Illustrated Garden”:http://www.ghostrabbitgarden.blogspot.com/. The real treat is that Val, a professional illustrator, uses her own work throughout the site. It’s gorgeous. Be sure to check out the archives at the “blog’s previous address”:http://valwebb.wordpress.com/, since that’s where most of the posts are. She also has a nice selection of links in the sidebar.

I just found your website, which I am happy to bookmark and will check often. And I appreciate the link to this other, beautiful website as well. The Illustrated Garden is the 1st blog I have ever subscribed to. Her illustrations are amazing. Thanks for the link and for making this site. And here’s a belated welcome to Mobile :)
p.s. i would love to see more content on this site, especially pertaining to gardening (and recipes, and everything green) and would be delighted to help in any way i can. peace to you and yours and to everyone.

Hi, thanks for writing in! I’m sorry it took me so long to respond…I got caught in a rather busy streak. I’ll be back at work now finding relevant articles and, eventually, profiling more local producers and retailers. If you like to write you can think about contributing a post about your garden or a local producer or eating locally. Also, just contributing your comments on existing posts is very helpful, since I’d like to have more of a discussion in the comments.
